Notes

Siwar is an independent nonprofit association founded in December 2011 by intellectuals and artists who believe in the importance of civil society in creating a better reality for Palestinian children and youth. Palestinian youth in Jerusalem contend with Israeli policies that aim at marginalizing or displacing their community and alienating them from their Palestinian history, identity, culture, and community. Siwar aims to support Palestinian youth psychologically, socially, vocationally, and culturally.
