A private settler company registered in the United States that works to bring expulsion lawsuits in Israeli courts against Palestinian Jerusalemites. One of two organizations responsible for efforts to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, Nahalat Shimon International aims to forcibly expel Palestinians from East Jerusalem and replace them with Israeli settlers in order to establish neighborhoods exclusive to Jews. To do this, the organization utilizes Israeli laws such as the Absentees’ Property Law (1950) and the Israeli Tenant Protection Law (1972).
