Hand-drawn Map of Qatamon

Hala Sakakini, an author who grew up in Qatamon with her family, wrote about her childhood and her neighborhood in her memoir, Jerusalem and I. In it, she sketched this map of the neighborhood as she recalled it later in Heliopolis, Egypt, in 1950.
